Characteristic of Benin brass work, this mask is embellished with symbolic images of the sceptre, lizard and Gye Nyame symbol. Clad in hammered copper and brass, the mask is hand-carved from native sese wood. Made in West Africa. No two are exactly alike, but each is a breathtaking treasure. 15" D.
