Traditional Fulani hat is a colorful testament to the culture and lives of this desert and rock dwelling peoples of Mali. As comfortable as it is interesting and unusual, this lively chapeau is an authentic example of West African headwear. Worn as a shield against the harsh African sun, we love it as a unique wall display. Made from leather and fiber, each hat is embellished with cowrie shells and other typical Fulani adornments. Hats also have nicely finished undersides. Approximately 16" D x 9" H. Mali.
